Apex Legends Mirage’s Holo-Day Bash collection event is officially live, and runs until January 7th.

Here are additional details about the event.

Holo-Day Bash Overview

  • Limited Time Mode – Winter Express
    • A non-Battle Royale point-capture mode featuring three teams of three
  • Exclusive event challenges with free earnable cosmetics, including two Legendary weapon skins
  • Town Takeover – The Mirage Voyage
  • 24 Event Limited premium cosmetics available directly for Apex Coins and Crafting Metals and available through Holo-Day Bash Event Packs
  • Pathfinder Heirloom Set Preview
    • Unlock all 24 Holo-Day Bash Event Pack cosmetics during the event and unlock the Pathfinder Heirloom set for free
  • Double XP Weekend

Limited Time Mode – Winter Express

In this mode, three squads will compete to capture the World’s Edge train as it goes from station to station. The path of the train is fixed to a smaller radius.

Here, all Legends come with custom, pre-determined loadouts. Eliminated players will respawn every round and can select different Legends to play mid-match. First to three captures wins.

Loadouts will also rotate daily, so log in daily to play various combinations for the fun of it.

Holo-Day Bash Cosmetics

During the event, completing challenges will earn you free exclusive skins, badges and music packs. This includes, including two Legendary Weapon Skins.

Event Limited Premium Cosmetics

The Holo-Day Bash Collection Event includes 24 themed, limited-time cosmetics. All items will be available through direct purchase for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals and in Event Apex Packs for the duration.Each Event Pack will come with one event item and two non-event items.

If you unlock all 24 during the event, you’ll unlock the Pathfinder Heirloom set for free. If you miss out, it will be available as an Apex Pack bonus after the event ends.

Double XP Weekend

From December 13-16, you will also earn double XP on all XP (excluding Battle Pass challenge Star rewards). This bonus will affect both the Account Level and Battle Pass progression.

Devolver Digital and developer Skeleton Crew Studio officially announced that their game ‘Olija’ will officially arrive on Playstation, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on January 28th, 2021.

According to the official synopsis: “Olija is a game about Faraday’s quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands.

Through adventurous exploration, narration and razor sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady that Faraday finds himself bound to over time. Inspired by swashbuckling tales and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.”

Disgaea RPG Releasing Worldwide in Spring 2021

Boltrend Games will release ForwardWorks and Nippon Ichi Software’s mobile game Disgaea RPG for iOs and Android globally in Spring 2021, according to an official announcement (h/t Gematsu). The release excludes China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and Korea

According to the summary: “Disgaea RPG is the evilest character-building RPG featuring all the protagonists from the series. Enjoy the adventure in the Netherworld and be the “best overlord.””

“It’s a place deeper than the ocean and darker than any other. It’s a dark world inhabited by ominous creatures captivated by the darkness. Where is this place? No one knows. But people all believe in its existence and respect it from the bottom of their heart.”

Conan Chop Chop Delayed Again, Of Course

It’s been a frustrating journey for Funcom’s game ‘Conan Chop Chop’, which was originally announced for a release in 2019, but has been pushed back several times since. Now, the game has been delayed yet again.

Conan Chop Chop is now going to be delayed to Q1 of 2021, and when it does, eventually, arrive it will land on Playstation, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
