Playstation 4 System Update 7.00 Now Out

Playstation 4 has rolled out a new update, 7.00, and it clocks in at 447.9MB and comes packed with a slew of features.

Most notably, the new party limits go from 8 people to 16 and will come with improved network connectivity and audio quality. For those of you in the United States, you will be able to access chat transcripts, which convert voice chat to text on a second screen and/or text that can be read aloud by the console.

Additionally, Remote Play is now available for Android 5.0 and higher, allowing Android users to stream games to their phone as well.

The full rollout of features is expected to commence this week.

Gaming and fitness should go hand-in-hand right? Well, Nintendo certainly thinks so and they have unveiled the Ring Fit line of fitness devices, which is a new fitness experience for the Nintendo Switch.

The bundle, which comes with the Ring Fit Adventure, a Ring-Con, and a leg strap will be available on October 18th.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Arriving Early 2020

We now have a release date for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, however it will not be available in 2019.

The official Final Fantasy account made the announcement that the game is set to arrive on January 23rd, 2020.

The remake of the GameCube four-player co-op adventure RPG classic will arrive on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and mobile devices.

Nintendo Switch Online Ends NES, SNES Monthly Releases

Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch Online has put an end to the monthly offerings of NES and SNES games as part of it’s subscription service.

“More Super NES games will be added after launch, but those releases will not adhere to a regular schedule. Please look forward to future announcements,” a Nintendo representative said, according to IGN.

Furthermore, “[m]ore NES games will be added in the future, but those releases will not adhere to a regular schedule. Please look forward to future announcements.”
