Fortnite v5.21 New Patch Brings New Heavy Sniper Rifle, Soaring 50’s LTM

Published

on

A brand new patch has arrived on Fortnite and patch v5.21 introduces a new weapon (the heavy sniper rifle), a new constructor (Thora) for Save the World players and much more, which you can see in the official patch notes listed below:

Fortnite v5.21 Patch Notes:

Heavy Sniper Rifle:

The Heavy Sniper Rifle makes its way into Battle Royale, and it’s an interesting one. Its large rounds deal a meaty 150/157 damage to players and a massive 1050/1100 damage to buildings.

A building damage archetype for weapons is quite underexplored in Battle Royale, and could help to shake up the base-heavy endgame by giving you more options to attack your opponents.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle comes in Epic and Legendary variants and can be found in all the usual places – like floor loot and chests.

You’ll get a chance to test it out in the returning Sniper Shootout LTM.

Soaring 50’s LTM:

With Soaring 50’s, the good ol’ 50v50 mode is getting a bit of a revamp. Now you’ll be able to redeploy your glider whenever you fall from a large height, including Impulse Grenades and Bounce Pads.

Are you ready to bring the Warcraft experience to the next level? Well, Blizzard reportedly is, and they have their eyes targeting something rather big outside of the development of Diablo immortal, according to a recent report from Kotaku.

Amid the widespread backlash from fans over the Diablo Immortal title, Blizzard is reportedly working on a World of Warcraft game that’s loosely based on the insanely popular concept of Pokémon Go that has been a constant force in the gaming community over the past few years.

Blizzard is yet to give a release date for Diablo Immortal, but news of a plan in the works for a mobile version WoW game seems incredibly exciting.

Additionally, Epic announced that turret availability will now be limited in Solos, Duos, and Squads.

“We’ve reduced the availability of the Mounted Turret in all default modes (Solo, Duos, Squads),” their announcement read, which was posted on Reddit.
