New Xbox One Update Makes Game Starts Faster While Downloading

A brand new update has hit the Xbox One has arrived as Microsoft continues to improve the console after theu ES announcement regarding the new Xbox One FastStart program.

The new update launched the new Xbox One FastStart program and it is broken down in a new Xbox Wire post.

Microsoft has had a “ready to start” feature for a long time, and it allowed players to play games while they were downloading, but the new feature is significantly faster and different because it hinges on involvement from the publisher.

Here are the games that utilize the new feature:

  • Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm
  • Neverwinter
  • Pac-Man Championship Edition 2
  • Rivals of Aether
  • ScreamRide
  • Tales from the Borderlands – Episode 1: Zer0 Sum
  • The Flame in the Flood
  • The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season
  • Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition
  • Ys Origin

Xbox 360 games

  • Dead Space 2
  • Toy Story 3

Some of these games are offered as a part of the Game Pass subscription.

Additionally, Microsoft has promised that more games will feature the new FastStart in the future.

Ubisoft Discusses Far Cry New Dawn’s “light RPG”

Ubisoft is discussing the newly introduced RPG-inspired mechanics for the Far Cry series, a first for the title.

Far Cry creative director Jean-Sebastien Decant spoke about it during a developer Q&A, talking about how “light RPGs” will work in the game.

“You’ll be able to craft guns that have ranks, and these guns will be useful to fight against enemies that also have ranks,” Decant went on to say.

Far Cry New Dawn is set to arrive on February 15th for Xbox, Playstation, and PC.

Monster Hunter World Receives New PC Update

A brand new update has rolled out for Monster Hunter World in the form of patch 5.1.

The main part of the update is the added support for 21:9 resolutions, which has been absent from the game since it’s initial launch.

The update also implements push to talk for the in-game VOIP.

Other things added include:

Ultrawide (21:9) support added.

Vignette Effects options will change from On/Off to High/Normal/Off.

Support for Simplified Chinese added.

Push-to-talk voice chat option added.Various bugs fixed.

Realm Royale Heads to Open Beta Tomorrow

Realm Royale, from Hi-Rez Studios, will drop it’s BETA on both Playstation and Xbox One tomorrow.

The battle royale based on the Paladins’ world and featuring the Paladins’ heroes, arrived in 2018 on PC, and it’s success pushed the title for a console release.

This is the first time the game will be available without the need of special invite codes.
