Far Cry 5 Announces Vietnam, Mars, And Zombie DLC

Far Cry 5 just gave fans a lot to be excited about as they have officially announced the first DLC, entitled ‘Hours of Darkness.’

According to an official synopsis from Ubisoft:

“Wendell Redler is more than just a Hope County resident, he’s a veteran soldier of the Vietnam War. Listen to him recount his glory days, as you travel back in time to war-torn Vietnam to take down Viet-Cong. Trapped behind enemy lines, rescue your squadmates and evacuate to safety in teh first war-based far cry. you must maneuver throughout this remote valley in Vietnam, and use survival instinct and stealth to save your team and get home.”

The developer also announced 2 additional DLCs, one set on Mars and one that will feature zombies:

“Far Cry 5 post-launch will continue with two new DLC adventures – Lost on Mars and Dead Living Zombies – which will be released this year in July and August. Two additional asset drops will give map builders more tools to create unique Far Cry Arcade experiences. The DLC adventures are available in the Season Pass, or as standalone DLC purchases, while new asset releases for Far Cry Arcade will be available for free to all players.”

Hours of Darkness is now available to download for $11.99, or as part of the $29.99 season pass.

‘Lost on Mar’s arrives in July and ‘Dead Living Zombies’ will arrive in August.

DICE Comments on Controversy Over Battlefield 5 TTK

DICE has officially responded to the backlash over recent TTK changes in Battlefield 5.

DICE recently made a change to the time to kill (TTK) in Battlefield 5, which dropped the damage output for the majority of the weapons in game, striving to prolong gunfights and provide players more time to react to a given situation, and/or battle.

“We’ve seen [TTK has] been a big talking point and causing a divide in the community, which was never our intention” DICE said via an official statement.

Director of Kingdom Hearts 3 Addresses Early Leak

After an early leak of Kingdom Hearts 3 over this past weekend, 
the game’s director Tetsuya Nomura has released a statement urging fans not to help in the circulation of gameplay videos.

Additionally, Nomura reassures fans that the “biggest spoilers” were not showcased or revealed in the leaked copies.

According to Polygon, the person responsible for the leaks got 30 copies via a connection they have to someone involved with the manufacturing and printing of the discs based in North Carolina.

Nomura says that his team is “aware as to how this has all happened,” and that the “whole team has been working together since [news of the leak] to investigate what we can do to better this situation.”

Kingdom Hearts 3 launches on January 29, 2019
