Fans wanted a new Jason added to the mix in Friday the 13th: The Game and now they will get just that.

A trailer released last week shows the latest edition to the horror survival game’s roster, Jason from Friday the 13th: Part 4.

The new Jason drops on October 13th, yes, Friday the 13th and will be a FREE add on. You’ll have to reach Level 44 to unlock the brutal slasher.

Fans will also get a new map; ‘The Jarvis Map’.

Gun Media also announced a new emote pack dropping on the same day for a price tag of $1.99. In the trailer there is also a glimpse of a new counselor, who will look familiar to hardcore fans of the film.

Fortnite Patch v7.10 Nerfs X-4 Stormwing Plane

With the rollout of Fortnite’s new patch, patch v7.10, which has been delayed, there will be a nerf going down!

The nerf is for the X-4 Stormwing plane, which has an explosive damage was set at 25, but it is believed that it will be doubled with the upcoming update.

Here are some more details:

  • Stormwings now take 50% more damage from hitting objects.
  • Boosting now reduces the damage taken from impacts by 50%, previously boosting prevented all impact damage.
  • Damage done to players that are in a Stormwing when it’s shot down has been increased from 25 to 50
  • Damage is dealt directly to health.
  • Stormwings will now take more damage from destroying structures by running through them.
  • Fixed some performance issues with the Stormwing which could lead to reduced frame rate and movement corrections.

Additionally, Driftboard will no longer be included in the update, which is still scheduled to drop today.

DICE Comments on Controversy Over Battlefield 5 TTK

DICE has officially responded to the backlash over recent TTK changes in Battlefield 5.

DICE recently made a change to the time to kill (TTK) in Battlefield 5, which dropped the damage output for the majority of the weapons in game, striving to prolong gunfights and provide players more time to react to a given situation, and/or battle.

“We’ve seen [TTK has] been a big talking point and causing a divide in the community, which was never our intention” DICE said via an official statement.
